Wow, what a year up here in Homer Alaska! Matilda just turned one this week, my wife Sarah has had a busy year at the clinic and the boys are distance learning from home. Looking ahead to 2021 and beyond, we are excited to bring in the New Year with some new items. Just in time for the holidays, Citizen Salmon Alaska has added a few Wild Alaskan Holiday Sampler boxes to the fish market. With a little collective brainstorming and a few cocktails by the spreadsheet I’m happy with what the family and I have come up with. Holy King Crab! We found some fabulous Colossal Bering Sea King Crab, and it’s now available for purchase both in sampler boxes and as a stand alone option. Kodiak scallops have also been added to our offerings. These preservative-free gourmet scallops will sear up beautifully in your holiday meals and are sure to impress. We have also partnered with our local friends at Tilgner’s Ruby Red Sockeye to bring you their award winning cold smoked lox. Dr. Art Tilgner has spent decades perfecting his old-world Scottish style smoking technique, and we know you will love this gorgeous lox piled high on your bagel.
